Minister Bernard Daise
Worship & Choir
Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Bernard Daise has been immersed in the world of music since he was a mere 5-year-old, when he began his journey singing in the children's choir. As he progressed through his teenage years, at the age of 13, Bernard assumed the role of Musical Director at Grace Faith Temple Church in Jersey City, New Jersey, under the guidance of Pastor Green. His educational path led him to Dickinson High in Jersey City, followed by enrollment at Fairleigh Dickinson University. At FDU, he pursued a major in criminal justice alongside a minor in Music. Although he did not complete his college education, his unwavering passion for gospel music persisted, leading him to dedicate 8 years of his life as the Director of the music ministry at Grace Faith Temple.
Bernard's musical journey continued as he became a member of New Hope Baptist Church in East Orange, New Jersey. For a span of 5 years, he lent his talents to the young adult choir at New Hope. Subsequently, he transitioned to Faith Temple New Hope Baptist Church, now known as "SpeakLife Ministry." Throughout his 13-year tenure at Faith Temple, Bernard wore various hats, serving as the vice president of the praise team, President of Faith Temple Church Choir, Treasurer, and Faith Temple's Youth Pastor.
Presently, he holds the esteemed position of Minister of Music at Purpose Church, where he has dutifully served for the past 5 years. Bernard remains a dedicated servant of God, committed to continuing to offer his best to the divine.
